On acceptance of a works order a full risks assessment will be carried out as follows: a) List the type and nature of any hazard. Assess all effects that could arise. Measure the possible risks. Draw up a list of precautions to be taken. b) Inform the contact person on site of any hazards. Relay risk controls in full. c) Inform the relevant person of the hazards. Arrange with the authorised person all controls. Check that all safety measures required for the site are in place. d) Ensure that all contacts are in place in case of emergencies.
Ensure the security of all steps, ladders, scaffolding or cherry
pickers to be used. Check all hand tools and safety equipment have
been tested and inspected before use. |
